The new Swift as described in the above video is a fun car to drive. It is better and much pleasurable drive as compared to the older model. The Maruti Swift video shows the exteriors clearly and one can figure out that the car isn’t changed too much. But if believed, as per the company, each and every single panel of the car has been changed. The new Swift is a bit wider and longer than before, but no extravagant change in the size.
Maruti might have changed everything in the new swift, be it the exteriors, interiors, panels, but one thing that hasn’t changed is the engine. Both petrol and diesel engines are still present in the market as before. The K-Series petrol engine has been tweaked a bit to provide you with higher fuel efficiency. The acceleration and pickup of the hatchback is as good as before, but when driving the diesel variant of the new Swift, it feels much peppier than the petrol model. Apart from the engines, the new Maruti Swift still features the five speed manual transmission. Overall, the brand new Maruti Swift is not a disappointment at all and takes the performance a notch higher as compared to the older model.
