Fiat, one of the leading car manufacturers of the world has planned to introduce Indian automobile market with its brand new car the Fiat 500 in the small car segment; after analysing its highly profitable success in the world car market. These mini vehicles are fast and intelligently designed to handle the busy traffic roads of the world and slide easily in the narrow spaced lanes. The maintenance is also low, so this makes Fiat 500 a desirable car. But the price range is a little higher. Fiat officials are counting on this model after the huge success of Fiat Punto in the Indian subcontinent. Also the reliability and consumer satisfaction has increased over the years.
Like other cars which are in market today Fiat 500 too has the same concept of delivering the style integrated with comfort and good specifications. This 3 door hatchback looks a bit weird in the first look but the cute curves and its designing steals the show. The headlights are like big eyes on a Disney creature. The wheels are beautifully placed and fill the bumper space aptly. The roofline is a bit goody but the effect of the car is enhanced by the sloping effect. The boot space is decent with respect to the car size ratio. The 3 door concept is appealing and contributes a lot to the beauty of this small car. The side archers are also good looking. Mini Cooper is sometimes reminded if we look at the dazzling tail- lamps. The fog lights are also placed in their conventional location. 
And if we look into this Fiat 500, the interiors are not disappointing as they perfectly blend with the exterior looks. It’s a mixture of vibrant colours which are painted appropriately. The eye catching interiors are especially appealing to the female genre. The dashboard is beautifully placed except some tit bit protruding plastic parts which look inappropriate. Body panels of Fiat 500 are congested when felt in detail. The modern equipped voice help is a little surprise for the first timers and buyers will get time to adjust themselves fully to buttons and its functionality. In whole it is designed as a beautiful small car which can even adjust the tall occupants easily. On the test drive we encountered some problems with the headrests but still they maintain the integrity of the car in an appealing manner.
The heart of Fiat 500 is similar to the Palio Multijet and carries the same oil burner inside it. The car is powered by Turbocharged common-rail engine of 1248cc capacity. With this engine the car will give a max Power output of 76 bhp at 4000rpm and a max Torque of 145 Nm at 1500 rpm.
