Honda Jazz No.1 in premium hatch segment
21 December, 2012: The large premium hatchback Honda Jazz has scored 866 points out of 1000 in the 2012 JD Power Asia Pacific survey in India, which makes it take the top spot. This research is based upon the level customer satisfaction with new vehicle in categories like interiors, exteriors, fuel economy, safety, drivability and many others. The other two to follow in the top three were Maruti Swift and younger sibling Honda Brio. As per the analysis, Indian consumers were now more inclined towards comfortable and soothing interiors, besides mileage and look of the new vehicle.
Honda Jazz hatch to turn ‘diesel’ soon
03 December 2012: The full-size hatch from Honda will soon get a diesel heart in the form of 1.5L i-DTEC powertrain. According to the reliable sources, this is the same engine that will soon be seen empowering much anticipated Honda Brio-based sedan, Honda Amaze. To ensure low cost input company has recently finalized upon new diesel engine facility situated at Tapukara, Rajasthan. The official launch of Honda Jazz Diesel is hoped by early 2014, and here it will fight its way out with rivals such as Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Fabia, Maruti Swift and Hyundai i20 in India.

16 April, 2012 :According to the speculations, there are chances that Honda Jazz will be the inaugural vehicle to boast a diesel engine for Honda’s array of cars in India. The launch of which is expected to be done by amid 2013.
