The Hyundai Accent Executive comes with a single Engine configuration but available with both Petrol and LPG/ CNG accomplices.

1.5 l SOHC Engine

The empowered Hyundai Accent Executive possesses an electrifyingly charged Single Overhead Camshaft Engine with 4 cylinders inline. The Engine possesses 12 valves and holds an engine capacity of 1.5 litres.  The Engine has a significant displacement capacity of 1495 cc.  The car is also available in LPG compatibility, known as Hyundai Accent Executive Eco with the same engine configuration as above, the only difference being the LPG kit that comes installed in the car. The Eco variant is more economical and environment friendly but equally appreciable is the Petrol Engine that is known for its high efficiency and performance throughout the segment.

The Powered 1.5L  SOHC petrol engine is well capable of churning out a tremendous power of about 95ps at 5500 rpm and a significant torque of about 12.7 Kgm at 3500 rpm with an ease that would keep one wondering about. The Engine picks up a speed from 0- 100 within a terrific span of 12 seconds and attains a top speed of 172 Km/ h with an ease that almost seems effortless.  The 1.5L LPG/ CNG SOHC engine on the other hand is equally capable with similar statistics on power and torque, however is faster in pickup reaching 0- 100 within 10 seconds but loses at top speed with 162 Km/ h. Also the side arm panel including the power window, door lock/ unlock controls have the same wooden finish at all four door sides. The only point where you would find the Hyundai Accent Executive behind other cars of the segment is the fact that the car lacks most of the advanced safety features like the ABS, EBD, airbags etc. It seems that in order to make the sedan within the reach of the common man and to reduce its cost for the same, Hyundai has omitted these features. However the car is loaded with anti- submarine seats that have been designed in order to prevent damage caused by sudden extreme application of brakes. Also the high mounted stop lamp at the rear keeps other drivers at the back alert at all times whenever the brakes are applied. The front fog lamps are also very useful while driving through mist in the winters. A similar application can be of the rear defogger that keeps the glass at the back fog- free thereby enhancing the visibility through the back. Also the collapsible steering column prevents injury to the driver’s chest in case of an on head collision. On the other hand, the central door locking is useful keeping the door locks of the car child- proof.

The super responsive power steering of the new Hyundai Accent Executive is such that it makes you feel that the car is almost mass- free. The extremely sporty steering helps you fling over almost all sorts of terrain with an ease. The gear shift is smooth and brakes are a true delight. The tyres help maintain a constant grip on to the roads. The car easily reaches its top speed and even at higher speeds, it remains confined within the controls of the driver.
