07 December, 2012: Hyundai Motors India recently discontinued two base models namely 1.6L VTVT and 1.6L CRDI from its array. This withdrawal has made way for the addition of 5 new variants to the line up in the form of 1.6 VTVT EX and 1.6 VTVT EX AT in petrol, while 1.4 CRDi EX, 1.6 CRDi EX 1.6 and CRDI EX AT as diesel companions. With this, the consumer can now choose from as many as in all 13 variants of Hyundai Verna. The competition becomes stiffer for rivals Ford Fiesta, Skoda Rapid, Honda City, Nissan Sunny and upcoming Honda Amaze.
