Mahindra revs up production of Rexton to 500 units 

16 January, 2013 : Mahindra Rexton’s launch in India has added to the glory of the SUV car maker as its demand in the country is rising gradually. Mahindra has also decided to increase the production of the SUV as a result of which the company will now be producing 500 units of the SUV every month. There is a long waiting period for the SUV, due to which Mahindra has decided to increase the monthly production with immediate effect. This will also help the car maker to achieve its yearly sales target too as it expects the demand to further rise with more units of Rexton being produced every month.

5 January, 2012: Looking at the high demand for its newly launched SUV, Mahindra Rexton, the company has decided to rev up the production capacity of the SUV by 500 units. Rexton currently has a waiting period of one and a half months and around 1300 units are yet to be delivered. Apart from Rexton, the company has also increased the production capacity of its compact SUV, Mahindra Quanto which was launched last year.  Mahindra has lined up few launches in the coming time which includes Mahindra Verito CS, Mahindra Reva NXR also known as Mahindra E20 which it could roll out within next three months.

16, November 2012: Come 20th November and SUV-major, Mahindra, will launch its premium presentation Mahindra Ssangyong Rexton in 7 more cities of the country. The listed cities comprise of Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Patiala. At the time of launch in Mumbai and Delhi on October 17th the company had committed to unveil the premium SUV Mahindra Rexton in a phased manner, and with this, it has lived up to its promise. This under Rs 20 lakh SUV is offered in two class leading diesel trims i.e. RX5 Manual and RX7 all-wheel-drive (AWD) Automatic.
