15 January, 2013 : Maruti Suzuki has gifted its fans a new Maruti Wagon R on the holy festival of Makar Sankranti. The New Wagon R price range starts from Rs 3.58 that indicates around Rs 10,000 increase in owing cost in comparison to the old model. Upgraded Wagon R comes with more appealing exterior and mouth-watering mileage delivery. The company hopes to grab more market share in hatchback segment with this new model that has been one of the bestselling cars in India.

The new Maruti Wagon R has a K – Series engine which fills the car with passion and power. It is Equipped with the new generation DOCH with offset crankshaft which gives the improved power and fuel efficiency. Wagon R finds its way on Indian roads offering a maximum output of 68 Ps @ 2000 rpm and a maximum torque of 90 Nm @ 3500 rpm.
