08, October, 2012: This festive season Nissan India brings joy to your home in the form of latest ‘Nissan Micra Primo’, the Ranbir Kapoor special edition. The Nissan Micra Primo launch has got decent incorporations inside-out with LEDs on ORVMs, advanced body graphics on sides, voice-assisted parking sensors, 2-Din audio player alongside all the features that are a part of regular Nissan Micra XL and XV trims.   Available in solo Pearl White shade, in both petrol and diesel engine options, it is priced at Rs 5.82 lakh and Rs 6.57 lakh (ex-showroom Maharashtra).

The car was launched with 4 petrol variants with 5 speed manual transmissions – initially. The petrol version of Nissan Micra is introduced with a 1.2L, 1198cc, DOHC, 12 valve, 3 cylinder engine that produces 76PS of top power at 6000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm via five speed manual gearbox that uses the engine power and torque cleverly and offers agile power and pick-up. Whereas the company has added a diesel version of the Nissan Micra in India which is powered by a 1.5 liters, SOHC, 8 valve, 4 cylinder common rail diesel engine that is capable of producing top power of 64 PS at 4000 rpm and generating maximum torque of 160 Nm at 2000 rpm. The diesel engine is more powerful than its petrol version.
