Tata Aria LX to soon be available across India

22 February, 2013 : The recently introduced base variant of Tata Motors flagship crossover, Aria LX which saw in South Indian market with a few other cities in the last quarter of 2012, is now going to be available across India. Aria is known for its most technologically advancements but lacks branding and pricing to appeal to the consumers. A stripped down version lacks in some safety features including Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) but is still considered as a good option for commercial passenger vehicle segment.

Cheaper Tata Aria by December to lure buyers

30 November, 2012:  Last month Tata Aria Pure LX was launched, though it was cheaper and launched amid festive season, but still it wasn’t able to gather favorable sales numbers. Hence, with a new pledge, a relatively new, affordable and upgraded Tata Aria will hit showrooms by next month this year, as Tata Motors plan to close this calendar year with pleasing memories. As per the reports, this launch was scheduled in the first quarter of 2013; however, with dipping sales the New Tata Aria launch was pre-poned by the company. The class-leading Crossover competes with Mahindra XUV 500 and Toyota Innova.

New Tata Aria Pure LX launched at Rs 9.95 lakh

22 October, 2012: Sighting many launches in the utility segment this festive season Tata Motors have unveiled an affordable Tata Aria Pure LX variant priced at Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Earlier with the launch of Tata Safari Storme and now New Tata Aria launch, Tata Motors has decided to besiege arch rivals Mahindra XUV 500 and Toyota Innova. Though the toned variant feels the absence of many high end features but by retraining aspects such as synthetic leather seats, single mass flywheel, powered adjustable outside mirrors, dual AC with pillar mounted vents, engine immobilizer, body colored bumpers, glove-box chiller and keyless entry it still stands in queue of value for money products from Tata Motors.

There are many criticisms that have been faced by Tata Aria since its launch; all or most of them are related to its high pricing. But looking at the features it has to offer at times one feels it is under priced crossover, as it has incorporated some never before seen features in the vehicle. After the launch of 4X4 version initially, Tata Motors has also introduced a cheaper 4X2 version of it in order to boost up its sales and it did remarkably well in India. Its main competitor is Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo which are less costlier compared to Tata Aria, but then again the advanced features and safety aspects goes for a toss. The features that the Aria boasts of are usually found in the luxury car segment well above Rs. 25 Lakhs.
