19 October, 2012: Extending the Sportivo lineup in India, Toyota Motors have recently launched the ‘Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo’ at a tempting price tag of INR 21.75 lakh). The Sports oriented premium SUV has got new bumper spoiler, sleeker roof spoiler and TRD body graphics alongside TRD styling all over the exteriors. The company has made available only 600 units of limited edition Fortuner to be offered for sales till December 2012. Launched amid festive times, this exclusive edition is specifically targeted to woo the young audience of the country.

June 7, 2012 : Toyota Fortuner price gets another bump as an aftermath of unstopping raise in input costs and interminable dip in the value of money. Last Friday Toyota made an announcement regarding the hike in Toyota Fortuner price for the diesel version that has been bumped up by 0.5 %. Toyota had been grappling to keep the price intact, but unfortunately the firm had to take this decision to cope up with the rise in input cost and depreciation of rupee. The price change goes effective from June 1, 2012.
