12 new models in pipeline of Fiat India by 2018
With an objective to strengthen its weakening roots in Indian car market and to launch 12 new vehicles in India, Fiat India, the Indian division of Italian car maker is going to explore its production efficiency. For this company is going to enhance its work force efficiency by appointing 5000 new employees in its organization. This was reported by Mr. Mike Manley, COO, Asia Pacific Region , and a member of the group executive council at Fiat SpA. According to Mr. Manley company wishes to sale 1.3 lakh units of its vehicles by 2018 with the compound growth rate of 50% in next four years annually.
In the words of Mr. Manley in coming four years the Asia Pacific region will witness the sale of 1.1 million units sold in both China and India. It is speculated that company will launch the Jeep brand in India car market by the second half of 2015. It would be interested to know that Fiat India is strongly expanding its roots in Indian car market.
Since its origin in Indian car market company had never offered more than three vehicles in India at same time. But with launch of 12 new models by 2013 will offer wide range of vehicles from company. Although for this company will have to work according to expectations of customers on the basis of feedback received from them.
