12th Auto Expo to have extended public visit days
The Auto Expo 2012 was nothing but a huge success. Twenty four major companies, 824 exhibitors and over 50+ automobile launches and unveils and what more can be expected of the biennial auto event held in New Delhi recently. However, following the inconvenience to the visitors due to huge footfall, the Auto Expo 2012 organisers have decided to extend the duration of the event from next Auto Expo onwards. It was at the Auto Expo that we have seem some of the historical launches and unveils, from BMW Mini series to Tata Nano CNG all made the visit to the even memorable.

As per reports, the decision to extend the public visit days of the event has been taken in the backdrop of the mismanagement of unexpectedly huge crowd that swarmed in at the event. Sources said that if the days of the event will be extended the crowd can be managed in a better way and it will also make the visit pleasurable. Currently, the general public is allowed entry to the Auto Expo 2012 for only two day during the week-long event.

As per an estimate, car enthusiasts have visited in never before numbers at the Auto Expo despite of chilling winter conditions in the country capital. However, the Auto Expo besides the mismanagement of the crowd remained overall peaceful and has been not less than a pilgrimage for auto lovers. It is here that auto industry has welcomed some of the best marquee like BMW Mini cars including Mini Cooper, Mini Cooper S, Mini Cooper Convertible and Mini Cooper S Countryman Crossover. It is here that Maruti has shattered the domain of Toyota Innova with Maruti Ertiga.
