2017 Hyundai Verna Launch on August 22, Bookings Open
From the last few years, Indian car market is growing up regularly with the launch of various new cars and the car manufacturers are also providing their vehicles with upgraded technologies, stunning looks and safety features. Hyundai, the Korean automaker launched many cars in India this year like the Xcent facelift, new Grand i10. Now, the company has planned to launch the Next Gen Verna (5th Generation Model) on August 22 for its Indian customers, which details were leaked ahead of its launch few days back.
Hyundai India officially commenced the bookings of the 2017 Verna facelift at the token amount of Rs 25,000 and promises for early delivery. The car is developed on the new K2 platform, built on Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS) with “Super Body Structure” that allows the car to deliver enhanced performance and provides Best-in-class safety.
The all-new Hyundai Verna will be equipped with 1.6L dual VTVT petrol and 1.6L U2 CRDi VGT diesel engine, which produces power output of 121hp/155Nm and 126hp/260Nm with improved mileage. Both the engines will be mated with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission system for the superior performance.
Hyundai confirms that the Next Gen Verna will come with latest design for its sporty looks and dynamic presence on the road. Also, it will be loaded with advanced safety features. The India bound Hyundai Verna might be seen with projector headlamps with LED DRLs, chrome work on front grille and front fog lamps, ORVS with turn indicators, sports alloy wheels that enhances its look. Inside the cabin, it will have new dashboard with 7-inch infotainment system, engine push start/stop button to ease in driving, six safety airbags, reverse parking camera, traction control and many more that ensure the safe journey.
There is no official words about the price of Verna from Hyundai, but is is expected to range between Rs 9.0 – 14.0 Lac ex-showroom. With the launch, the 2017 Hyundai Verna will become a tough competition for the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento and other its batch-mates.
