25,000 units of Honda Mobilio sold in Indonesia
With Honda Mobilio from Japanese auto giant Honda Motors yet to make its debut in Indian car market the MPV has started receiving appreciation in the international market. According to recent reports Honda Motors has sold out more than 25,000 units of Mobilio in Indonesian car market since its launch on January 25, 2014. Prior to this company had showcased the MPV during Indonesia Motor Show 2013 held in September. Going through the increasing demand of MPV’s in Indonesia Mobilio has succeeded in making its strong position in specific segment. The MPV Mobilio is developed on its elder hatchback sibling Brio and is regarded as an enlarged version of Honda Amaze.
In India it is speculated that company might launch Mobilio sometimes during the month of July and for this it is has started the production at its production unit in Greater Noida from where it would further start its production at company’s new plant located at Tapukara in Rajasthan. In India is expected to be launched with price tag falling between Rs. 6.5 lakh and Rs. 9 lakh, and will compete against existing MPV’s like Nissan Evalia, Ertiga from MSIL, Stile from Ashok Leyland and Enjoy from Chevrolet.
