Adding more features to its cars, Audi has launched two applications which will be free to download on iPhone and these apps will be tracking mileage delivery by the car as well the expenses incurred. Since the application is irrespective of car it can be used to track the mileage and expenses of any Audi car be it Audi Q3, or Audi A4, Audi A6. The iPhone app launched by Audi tracks the distance travelled, fuel consumed as well as the expenses incurred during the journey with the help of GPS tracking and thus it is very precise.

The calculation of travel costs will be a handy tool for Audi and iPhone users in keeping track of their expenses as well as performance of the car. This not only eases driving experience but also keeps track of the cars performance and daily, monthly run as well as fuel consumed during this period. Thus at the end of the month or at the scheduled time the total business expenses incurred during the journey can be totaled using the app and can be exported to a spreadsheet. The app will be available to users across the globe wherever GPS facility is available.

The app also stores the information about previous journeys which can be used for a quick comparison with the fresh journey or to derive the estimated cost of travel in an Audi car. The app has a start/stop button just as the car has keyless start function and the user can start the app when sets out on a journey and can stop it when back home. This app is expected to be a hit in India as people are just ‘obsessed’ about mileage and it will be a boon for fleet use of Audi cars. This app can be integrated with any Audi car using an iPhone.
