Bajaj RE60 gets approval as Quadricycle vehicle
Bajaj RE60, the much anticipated cheaper four wheeler by country's leading two wheeler and three wheeler maker Bajaj Auto has got the approval as Quadricycle vehicle. And this segment of vehicles can be used for dual purpose. The Government of India has approved a new type of four wheeler segment called the Quadricycle. The new RE60 small car would used as a light commercial vehicle and passenger vehicle. In terms of pricing and performance the new car by Bajaj Auto, will be a major rival of autorickshaws and Tata Nano. It is expected to be priced under Rs 1 lakh.

The new approved Quadricycle four wheeler vehicle segment is fully new and this type of vehicles will carry an identification symbol ‘Q’. This type of segment vehicles would carry the same features and specs of three wheelers. And, the new Bajaj RE60 will also carry the basic features and specs. Bajaj Auto has stated that very soon they start the production of the RE60.
Bajaj RE60 is a car with very basic features and specifications. With launch of this one, Bajaj Auto will dive into the four wheeler segment and after some the company could think about to bring out new category of cars in India. After getting success in Indian domestic market, the company could export this dual purpose vehicle to other countries.
