BMW hatchback to make its way on Indian shores within two years
BMW is following aggressive strategies for the lucrative Indian auto market to make stay ahead of its main competitors, Audi and Mercedes-Benz. One of the crucial steps taken in this regard is to bring BMW 1Series hatchback and the Mini compact to Indian auto market within two years. This is one of the effective decisions taken by the company to maintain its hold on the market.
As per the statement made by Andreas Schaaf who is the President of BMW India, the Indian luxury car market is going through an exponential growth. He also said that after making a good name in the luxury car segment, the company is now planning to launch its compact range of cars. According to Andreas Schaaf, this decision will help the company in catering to variety o needs of Indian customers.
He commented that the company is leaving no stone unturned to maintain a lead in this market and venturing in new segment will be an effective decision for the company.
