BMW M4 Coupe launched in Indian car market, priced Rs. 1.21 Crore (ex-showroom price)
Germany based luxurious car maker BMW has launched the new M4 Coupe saloon sedan with starting price of Rs. 1.21 crore (ex-showroom price) in Indian car market along with its elder sibling refreshed M3 saloon sedan. It would be interested to know that two days back car maker has launched the new edition of M5 also in Indian car market. The new M4 will now join the brigade of its other M series members namely M3, M5 and M6.
The most impressive USP of M4 would be its 3.0 litre twin turbocharged six cylinder engine boosting the power of 431 bhp and torque of 550Nm. The engine is mated with seven speed DCT gearbox with paddle shifters which boost the power to rear wheels. The two door coupe will reach the mark of 100 kmph from zero mark in span of 4.1 seconds and top notch of 250 kmph. Interestingly due to its light weight the coupe it will deliver 25 percent improved fuel performance.
Talking about the design philosophy of M4 coupe it carries most of its designing clue from its eldest sibling M3 launched along with it, but carries more dynamic looks. The front fascia receives kidney shaped front grille followed by sleek headlights giving it distinct look. It also bestows safety features like ABS and brake assist system, dynamic stability control system along with dynamic mode and launch control, and cornering brake control.
