Both variants of Maruti Suzuki Ignis Spied on roads
Maruti Suzuki Ignis the upcoming compact SUV from Indo-Japanese car maker exhibited its first glimpse during 13th edition of Indian Auto Expo 2016 held earlier this month. At the time of it’s unveil it was revealed by MSIL that it will launch the compact SUV during the upcoming festive season in Indian car market. Now it looks that car maker has tightened its seat belts to make its words of launching Ignis strictly during the festive season.

According to recent industry reports spies have caught the black colored two units of Ignis being tested on roads which definitely were both the petrol and diesel variants. As reported earlier the petrol variant will be energized with 1.2 litre VTVT petrol engine and diesel with 1.3 litre MultiJet diesel engine. Both these engine configurations are offered in recently launched Baleno hatchback and S-Cross crossover which are being sold through Nexa premium dealerships. Once launched in Indian car market Ignise would be third vehicle from car maker to be sold through Nexa dealerships.

It is reported that the compact SUV will be embroidered with bunch of interesting features like ORVMs with mounted turn indicators, projector headlights, LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels and rear mounted spoiler. Inside the cabin it will bestow ABS+EBD and airbags as safety features followed by touchscreen infotainment system.
