In order to expand the Indian operations, company is targeting the most challenging and growing domestic passenger car market. According to some sources, the company may replace the Chevrolet Aveo Sedan and Chevrolet Aveo U-VA hatchback with the upcoming Chevrolet Sail twins. These twins hit at the perfect point between the Chevrolet Beat and Chevrolet Optra.
It will come boosted with the Fiat’s 1.3 litre Mulit-jet diesel engine, manufactured at the company’s Talegaon plant in India. However, this premium hatchback car will struggle hard with the India’s best selling Maruti Swift and Maruti Swift Dzire.
