With the launch happening next week, deliveries will begin as soon as the Neo3 BSIV is launched. Anticipation and thrill is in a back to back mood from the Chevrolet pavilion. As the Indian car industry was expecting the BSIV versions to arrive and Chevrolet launched the Neo3 BSIII versions. But within a week now, reports have emerged that the BSIV version is round the corner. With the BSIV version in, it is expected that Chevrolet Tavera will be able to give a fresh fight to Toyota Innova that already has undergone a facelift recently.

The BSIV Tavera is expected to have a four pot, 2L TDCi diesel engine under the bonnet and this low on emissions engine will be producing 106.8PS power at a low 4000 rpm and a peak torque of 263.7Nm at 2500rpm that means higher engine life coupled with higher mileage and low pollution. Whereas the recently launched Neo3 Tavera is a BSIII version and it will not be able to ply on the metro roads due to the stricter pollution norms applicable for the metros. Apart from features similar to the Tavera Neo3 BSIII, the new BSIV Neo 3 will be more frugal and will have much wider market to give a fight to Toyota Innova.
