Fiat had revealed its new car, Fiat Viaggio at the Beijing Motor Show and since the time of its introduction, the car has been creating major waves in the global car market, especially China. Viaggio in Italian means Journey and one could expect a wonderful journey in Fiat Viaggio. The car’s base has been taken from the five door sedan, called Dodge Dart. Now the rumors suggest that the new Fiat Viaggio is expected to be launched on 10th September 2012 in China. The company has high expectations from the car.

Parting ways of Fiat with Nanjing alliance have proved to be unbeneficial for the firm; therefore, the Italian car maker is putting all its heart and soul in the new Viaggio. Fiat is also currently selling the ‘500’ in the Chinese car market, but in the form of completely built unit. All the hopes and expectations from Fiat Viaggio will get their real results on 10th September 2012, when it will be officially launched in China.

The car is expected to come with 1.4 litre of T-Jet engine, with two different tunings, one churning out 120HP of power and the other one generating 150HP of peak power. This car might also be launched in Europe, where it has been caught in camera number of times. The Fiat Viaggio price tag in China is expected to land between 110,000RMB to 160,000RMB that comes out to be Rs. 9.57 to Rs. 13.92 lakh.

As far as the Indian launch of Fiat Viaggio is concerned, for now the company is busy targeting on amplifying the dealership network. According to Fiat India, models like Fiat Viaggio could be launched in the Indian car market, after the firm has been completely established here. May be, one could expect Viaggio in India in next 5 years.
