Details of 2017 Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire Revealed Ahead of its Launch

The all new Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire is all set for launch on May 16, 2017 and the bookings of same have already been commenced by the car maker at the down payment of Rs. 5,000. Recently the Indo-Japanese car makers have already disclosed the features that would be introduced in the new Dzire ahead of its launch. According to the sources of company the new Dzire will be launched in four trims namely LXi/LDi, VXi/VDi, ZXi/ZDi and ZXi+/ZDi+ and will undergo plethora of changes on both the exterior and interior fronts. Under the hood there would be changes and will continue with existing engine configurations along with AMT gearbox offered in both the variants.

On the exterior front it will sport LED headlamps with DRLS mounted on broad front grille along with chrome accents. The side profile will adorn newly developed alloy wheels, while at the rear front it will sport shark fin antenna, new rear bumper with new boot spoiler. Inside the cabin it will receive dual color treatment with beige upholstery, faux wood inserts on the steering wheel and dashboard. The other features offered inside the cabin will sport three layered dashboard, auto climate control system, leather wrapped flat bottomed steering wheel with audio controls and Bluetooth telephony, rear air conditioner vents and seven inch smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Talking about the safety features that would be introduce in new Dzire will include integration of dual front airbags and Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) as standard feature throughout the all trims. Along with these features the top end variants will be developed to comply with the new pedestrian safety and side and frontal offset impact regulations. After launch it will compete with Hyundai Xcent, Ford Aspire, Honda Amaze, Volkswagen Ameo, Tata Zest and recently launched Tata Tigor.
