Details of Ferrari’s experimental FXX K disclosed by company
Italian sports car maker Ferrari has revealed the details of its under production FXX K super luxurious sports car which is considered as an advanced version of LaFerrari FXX. According to sources of company the super car boosts an amazing power of 1035 bhp and is empowered with V12 plus electric engine. The power of 1035 bhp is 101 bhp more from its elder sibling and is derived in combination of 847.89 bhp and 187.32 bhp from 6.3 litre V12 engine and electric motor respectively. It also develops the torque of 900 Nm. The car is anticipated to touch the mark of 100 kmph within the span of less than 3 seconds. The engine will be mated with 7 speed DCT gearbox.
Integration of K in this experimental super car is replica of Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) which is the main reason behind its incredible performance. The front fascia of this super car adorns double deck spoiler along with vertical fins which are key sources for better efficiency and its aerodynamic look. The super car has wheelbase of 2650mm. The worth mentioning features adorned in FXX K are overhauled internal combustion engine, newly developed intake manifolds and new camshafts. Apart from these features other noteworthy features offered are altered valve train with mechanical tappets which are better than valve train bestowed with hydraulic tappets.
