Facelift Mahindra Scorpio spied
The Mahindra Scorpio from domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra is one of the highly awaited SUVs in Indian car market. Spies have witnessed the facelift Scorpio being tested on Indian roads at several occasions, and this time they have succeeded in capturing the latest snaps of facelift Scorpio. According to reports received from spies the new Scorpio has received lots of cosmetic updates at the exteriors which makes its completely different from the existing version of Scorpio.
It is speculated that the facelift Scorpio will continue the same existing 2.2 litre mHawk engine, but this time company may retune its power generating efficiency, which means that the Scorpio 2014 will accelerate the speed of 100 kmph more quickly. Now moving towards the cosmetic changes the front fascia according to spies will sport LED DRLs along with projector headlamps, the new bumper, newly developed grille and LED tail lamps adds a spicy look to new Scorpio.
Inside the cabin it will receive various new features which will deliver true value of money to the buyers giving it more elegant and royal look. The interiors are expected to receive the same treatment as offered in its sibling XUV500, more specifically the steering wheel has been carried directly from SUV with all important controls mounted on it. The instrument panel receives new design, the central console sports new multimedia system whereas the air conditioner vents are also given new shape. Industry experts believe that these updates will help to strengthen Scorpio’s position more strongly in Indian car market.
