Facelift Tata Safari Storme ready for launch in January 2015
Name of Tata Safari does not require any introduction to introduce itself in anyone in Indian car market. The SUV has been one of the best selling SUV in Indian car market and it was two years back when the vehicle got its last facelift in 2012. It is reported that now after the gap of two years domestic car maker is going to bring the facelift version of Safari Storme in Indian car market sometimes during the month of January 2015. It is also rumored that the changes introduced in facelift would be widespread and will give a contemporary look to vehicle.
It is anticipated that company will continue with the same existing engine configuration of 2.2L, 2179cc VARiCOR engine that will boost the power of 148 bhp and torque of 320Nm. It will be offered with five speed manual gear transmission system which would same as offered in its sibling Aria. However company might enhance the chassis to offer comfort driving and handling to the user. Apart from this car maker may also improve the turning radius of vehicle. Apart from this the Safari Storme might be blessed with huge fleet of various cosmetic upgrades including newly developed dashboard, new infotainment system and new upholstery.
All the above mentioned changes are speculations company might introduce various other changes also apart from these changes. It is also anticipated that company might bring a new vehicle as replacement of Safari Storme. As couple of weeks back another domestic car making company Mahindra and Mahindra had introduced the revamped Scorpio to strengthen its position in Indian car market.
