Facelift Tata Safari to be launched in April: A Glimpse
As reported earlier domestic car maker Tata Motors is going to bring the refreshed versions of Safari Storme in Indian car market. Now according to recent reports the car maker is planning to bring the same out from covers during the second week of April more probably on April 9, 2015. According to reports received so far spies the upcoming version of new Safari Storme carries most of its cues from the existing version with minute changes.
There would be no changes under the bonnet and it will continue with same existing 2.2 litre four cylinder VariCOR diesel engine with enhanced power tune of 160 PS from existing power of 138 bhp followed by torque of 400 Nm. The engine would be mated with five speed manual gear system. It is anticipated to be offered with price tag varying between Rs 10 lakh and 13 lakh. After launch it will compete against Duster from Renualt and Scorpio from domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra.
Apart from subtle changes on the exteriors car maker has upgraded interiors of new Storme with automatic climate control, steering mounted controls, touchscreen infotainment system and few more. After facelift Tata Safar Storme car maker is also going to launch its highly awaited hatchback Kite and sedan also in Indian car market sometimes during this year.
