Facelift Yeti to be unveiled during Indian Auto Expo by Skoda
Where everyone is expecting the Indian arm of Czech car maker Skoda Motors will roll out its SUV Yeti from Indian car market due to poor performance, Skoda India is reported to unveil the facelift version of Yeti during the upcoming Indian Auto Expo event. It is also reported that with this facelift edition of Yeti, company also intends to offer new SUV’s in Indian car market with an objective of strengthening its SUV flagship in market.
As far as mechanical changes are concerned it is speculated that Skoda will carry the same engine configuration which prevails in existing models of Yeti. Talking about the cosmetic changes that have been offered in facelift Yeti will follow the same pattern as offered in new Octavia saloon sedan, i.e., newly designed front fascia. The major changes offered in front view includes square-ish headlamps, newly designed front bumper, with straight lines on side profile including new signature Skoda grille along with new headlamps.
Moving towards the rear portion the trunk lid has been upgraded into new triangular lids, which is similar to one offered in Skoda Rapid. The tail lights and reflectors have been re-designed, followed by newly designed rear bumper. At interior front the conventional steering has been replaced with newly designed steering wheel followed by superior quality seats. It would be worth mentioning here that although Yeti is an amazing SUV available in country but due to its price it did not succeeded in capturing sufficient number of customers, due to which this time it is speculated that company will offer facelift at competent price.
