Over 600 Fiat car owners participated in the interaction camp and they had a chance to share views and opinions with the top management personnel. On the occasion, the Fiat India personnel also responded to the car owner’s queries. All in all, it was a great experience for the Fiat car owners and they too thought that the company is on an expansion spree soon and thus there is no problem with the brand. Earlier, as the brand could not set afire sales of Punto and the Linea even after the launch of Fiat Punto Sport, it was rumored that Fiat is least optimistic about India but the recent statements and this event has reiterated its trust in India as a prominent market.
As part of the expansion, there will be new Fiat car launches in 2013 and coming years, new brand – Jeep and Abarth launch and commencement of financial services that will make car buying more simple. All these changes in the strategy are an effect of the brand’s separation with Tata recently.
