Fiat India to expand dealership network by year end
Fiat, the Italian Auto brand and 50 % collaborator of Tata, draws a bead to open 22 new showrooms in India during the year 2012. The company has got solid expansion plans and prime goal for 2012 is to establish 22 new outlets in the Indian Metropolitan cities. The main objective is to increase dealership network of the company all over India – this is what Mr. Rajeev Kapoor, the Fiat India Automobiles President and CEO told to the reporters. Besides, two new upgraded versions of Fiat Linea and Fiat Punto were also unveiled yesterday. The company aims to come up with a brand new small car later this year.

Mr. Kapoor also shared his comments on the newly launched Fiat Linea and Punto. He told that the company received feedbacks from customers & in order to meet their demands the latest cars have been advanced with improved air- conditioning system, Interiors, better provisions for ground clearance and there is a wide range of colors available now to choose from. The Ex-showroom price for the new version of Punto ranges from Rs 4.81 lakh and Rs 6.71 lakh & that of Linea is from Rs 6.83 lakh to Rs 9.18 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Though this price range of the New Punto is affordable, but it’s still not too favorable on the pocket of the general buyers. To be a hit in market like India, the company needs an economic car which is low on price than the latest Punto. Therefore, the company plans to bring a more affordable small car in the market which will be customized according to the needs and budget of the Indian Car lovers. Sharing some more on the upcoming small car he said that it's going to be an Indo – Italian version which will be an Italian Car with peculiar Indian Features. The time of its launch, however, cannot be confirmed now.
Furthermore, to take their customer services to a high, the company is also contriving to come up with the concept of Fiat cafes, simply for offering enhanced retail experience to its worthy clients.
