Final good bye to Gallardo from Lamborghini
Finally the last unit of Lamborghini Gallardo from Italy’s luxurious car manufacturing company Lamborghini was released from its Sant Agata Bolognese production plant after successful existence in market for more than ten years, during which it recorded sales of 14, 021 units of sold. Gallardo had played an incredible role in strengthening company’s position in International market and has been regarded as one of the most highly acclaimed car launched by company. It would be interested to know that Gallardo’s contributed 50% of company’s sales during its existence of ten years.
Apart from this Gallardo had also been seen in various movies and music videos. It would be interested to know that having Gallardo at garage also constitutes as an important status symbol by various celebrities. There are various models of Gallardo available in market besides regular model. These include Gallardo Spyder, the Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante, Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera, the Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse and the Super Trofeo Stradale.
It is speculated that Gallardo will be replaced by Cabera which was recently spied testing on roads under cover. Gallardo was equipped with 2.7 litre twin turbo V-6 engine whereas Cabera will be equipped with 5.2 litre V 10 engine developing the power of 562 bhp and torque of 398 lb-ft. With discontinuation of Gallardo, Lamorghini will stop the production of models equipped with manual transmission system.
