Force Motors expects 25 percent growth this FY

Force Motors India is all set for a bumper financial year in the ongoing highly exceptional sales due to the festive season. The launch of the Force One SUV in the passenger segment is also said to have added some high volumes to the overall sales chart of the car maker and as per the market analysts, the car maker will be able to return a decent growth this year. It has recently said in a statement that it expects around 25 percent growth compared to the last fiscal in the sales of its vehicles. Thus said it will be able to sell over 40,000 vehicles. Notably, the Force One is a Foday Explorer look alike and has a Mercedes engine under the hood and it competes with the likes of Mahindra XUV 500 and others.

It is believed that another factor that will be helping the car maker in attaining the required growth is the expansion of its commercial vehicle range. Another important thing to mention is that the car maker will be launching a new high end passenger car that will have less than ten seats and it will be competing with the market leaders such as Toyota Innova, Chevrolet Tavera, Mahindra Xylo and the recent addition Maruti Ertiga.

In the meantime, the Pune based car and commercial vehicle maker is also expanding its tractor and other divisions further which are showing sign of improvement. In its statement, the car maker has said that the last two month were quite disheartening but the market has come back and educational institutes, travel industry and other businesses have come up with commercial vehicle demand which is a good sign . With this improvement, the car maker expects to sell 40k units of vehicles in 2012-13 compared to 32k sold in 2011-12.

Force One is good SUV but not more than XUV 500, Safari Storme. Force Motors should launch it with petrol engine. Beside this, to achieve this great target Force should dive into the hatchback and sedan car segment too.....
