Force One 4×4 coming in July!
The much anticipated 4 wheel drive variants of the Force One SUV is expected to be launched next month. Apart from this, a low cost variant of the vehicle will also be offered to the Indian customers. Ford India has prepared the 4 wheel drive variant of the One SUV along with a cheaper variant. Recently, 4x4 trim of the specious SUV has been spied on roads during test run. It carries a ’4×4' badge at the top-right corner of the bootlid, some ’4×4' graphics on both sides and many of premium features.

The lower spec variant will lose some of features to become cheaper than current model. At present, the base variant of the One SUV comes at Rs 11.70 lakh (Ex-showroom Mumbai) but the new cheaper variant would be offered under Rs 9 lakh. Meanwhile, the 4 wheel drive version will take position as the high-end variant and could go for Rs 11.70 lakh (Ex-showroom). Ford India will offer the same Mercedes sourced 2.2-liter FMTECH diesel engine in One 4x4 SUV that producing max power of 141PS and peak torque of 321Nm. Power of the engine goes to wheels via 5-speed gearbox.
After getting the powerful 4 wheel drive model, Force SUV will be giving competition to all wheel drive versions of the Mahindra Scorpio and XUV 500. Apart from this, Force India is also working on an MPV which is expected to be launched by the end of this year and it will take position against the Mahindra Quanto, Chevrolet Enjoy, Maruti Ertiga and Nissan Evalia.
