Honda Jazz 2015 to carry CVT system from new Honda City
Launch of new Honda Jazz is one of the highly awaited launches in the hatchback segment of Indian car market the car has been already caught by spies on several occasions going for a test drive. Going through the reports of spies lots of speculations have determined by the Indian car enthusiasts. According to recent report received from spies the new Jazz will be also introduced in CVT version alike its sibling the generation next Honda City.
Scheduled for launch in June this year with price tag varying between Rs 5 lakh and Rs. 8 lakh the new Jazz is anticipated to be offered with same engine configurations of 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol engine which already exists in Brio and Amaze and 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine. Both these engines will generate the power and torque of 87 bhp and torque of 110 Nm followed by power of 100 PS and 200 Nm torque respectively. According to reports apart from regular trims the new petrol version of new Jazz would be also offered by with an option of CVT gearbox as offered in generation next Honda City.
After launch the new Jazz will compete against Nissan Micra, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai i20 and Volkswagen Polo. It is expected to be offered in overall five trims namely EMT, SMT, SVMT, VMT and VXMT in both petrol and diesel trims.
