Hyundai, Korean leading Carmakers considering launch of its small car, new Hyundai 800cc by November in India. Earlier, the Company had planned to launch the code named H 800 in the year 2012 but the car is in its final test- run phase and is expected to be ready for launch in a span of next six months.

Company has not revealed much details of the car, but as reported by a reliable source, Toyota has been working on a model which will be more fuel efficient than the existing cars thus reducing the petrol consumption. It appears that H 800 with good mileage will score high on the mileage front.

Hyundai is trying to grab a chunk of the small car segment and so the speculated car might be launched before launch of Maruti’s new small car model. Hyundai has plans to compete with Maruti’s popular model Maruti Alto and will be positioning the car in the same category.

Some of the popular hatchback models in the Indian auto market are Toyota Etios Liva, Ford Figo, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat and Volkswagen Polo. Apart from these popular models, cars going to hit the Indian roads this year are Chevrolet Beat Diesel, Maruti Cervo and New Ford Fiesta.
