The man who has taken Hyundai India to the second largest car maker in India has stepped down from his assignment. In his tenure of over seven years, Mr Arvind Saxena has handled the marketing operations of Hyundai’s best selling car Hyundai Santro to the latest Hyundai Sonata. Meanwhile, he is the person behind creating a sensation for the Hyundai Elantra that is launching soon. It is said that he is person who has seen Hyundai grow from a kid to a young boy and now that he has quit from the company, it seems that Hyundai must have received a big blow.

Saxena in his parting speech has reportedly said that he has cherished being with Hyundai and has learnt a lot during his tenure and he also said that he is sure that the competent staff and robust products lined up will take the company to the next level. The industry remained in awe state with the reports of Saxena stepping down and people believe that Hyundai has lost one of its jewels that has taken it from dust to the second largest car maker position. Meanwhile, there are no reports about the future assignment of Mr Saxena but the whispers in the Indian car industry corridors echo that he might join as Volkswagen head marketing position in order to take the German car maker to its goals.

Meanwhile, a lot of shuffle in the industry is about to happen and it is said that Hyundai marketing head charge will be taken by someone from a prominent car maker’s team. In addition to this, Saxena’s quit has not been timed well for Hyundai as it is about to launch the Rs 12 lakh sedan Elantra in India and there are lot more products lined up this Diwali.
