In an attempt to save the environment from green house gases and other car emission pollutions, Hyundai has taken an initiative and it has requested the US government to declare the month of August as the "National Fuel Efficiency Month." Notably, Hyundai cars in US are some of the best cars and Hyundai Accent, Hyundai Elantra and Hyundai Azera are the top three best Hyundai cars. Elantra is acclaimed as the best affordable small car while Azera is among affordable large cars in US. Significantly Hyundai has asked the people of Washington to sign the petition at the White House website. Till now there are only 195 petitions and Hyundai needs 24, 805 petitions signatures till July 4 in order to be accepted by the White House.

Notably, it is an ongoing endeavour by the Korean car maker to make aware people about the benefits of driving in an economic mode and driving fuel efficiently. During the promotion of fuel efficient driving, Hyundai will be promoting the need and benefits of driving Hyundai cars in an economic way that not only saves the environment but also money as well.
