Indonesia to get Maruti Swift!
Maruti Swift will have 1.5 litre engine for Indonesia version

After Maruti Ertiga created a buzz in the Indonesian car market, it’s now the chance of Maruti Swift hatchback. Ertiga was certainly a major hit there and same is expected from Maruti Suzuki Swift. Apparently, the brand new Maruti Swift is expected to be launched at IIMS or Indonesia International Motor Show 2012, which is scheduled in September 2012.
The new Maruti Swift will come with the similar engine that was present in the previous generation model, which means, the car will feature 1.5 litre of four cylinder M15A DOHC VVT engine that will churn out 100 PS of peak power at the rate of 6000 rpm along with 143 Nm of maximum torque at the rate of 4000 rpm.

As per the director of sales and marketing of Suzuki Indonesia, Mr. Endro Nugroho, Swift will debut in the Indonesian market with four new and fresh models. However, he made sure he doesn’t slip put any more information about the car. The pricing details have also been kept under the hood. If Swift is launched in Indonesian market, the car is expected to receive great amount of success as it has received all over the world.
