The proposed Kite would be offered to compete against Maruti’s recently launched hatchback Celerio in Indian car market. As it is known that Xcent has been the game changer of country’s leading car manufacturing company MSIL enhancing its sales. The worth mentioning feature of Celerio which played an interesting role in strengthening the position of MSIL in Indian car market was integration of affordable automated transmission system. Alike Celerio the upcoming Kite from Tata Motors will also boost sub 1000cc engine and will be offered between its two elder siblings Nano and Indica.

According to sources of company the Kite would be manufactured at company’s production plant located at Sanand in Gujarat.
