Mahindra begins bookings for XUV 500 AWD

The world SUV Mahindra XUV 500 is the latest newsmaker after the launch of the mini SUV Mahindra Quanto. After the most successful debut of Quanto that has already bagged over 3500 bookings, Mahindra has also opened bookings for the all wheel drive version of the XUV 500. The bookings of the AWD variant was not opened in the last two booking drives. The recent Italy launch has been the most successful both in terms of sales as well as the brand’s international appearance. The XUV 500 has been christened as the SUV that will take the Indian SUV brand to the world and it could be possible that Mahindra will soon accede to the second largest car maker position in India beating Hyundai and Tata.

Since its launch a year ago, there are over 35,000 XUV’s on road and it is quite possible that this year the car maker is going to increase the capacity of its Chakan plant where the miracle SUV is produced. It is believed that this SUV has beaten Tata Safari, Force One SUV and Tata Aria so well that it could help the car maker attain what the Mahindra Scorpio or the Mahindra Bolero could not. It is said that this SUV has given what Safari, Force One and other SUVs in the segment could only dream of. Be it styling, looks, features or the power within, the XUV has bagged the most fabulous of the car reviews. The XUV 500 price has also helped the Mahindra car attain a decent position in the segment.

The all wheel drive version is a must buy for those who wish to unleash the true SUV spirit of the XUV 500 and get the most out of the 2.2 L mHawk engine under the bonnet of the car. The easy availability of the all wheel drive version will also help sustain the demand for this SUV as the pure sports utility car buyers look for the all wheel drive version rather than the feeble front wheel drive version.
