Mahindra Bolero achieves the landmark of selling over 6.5 lakh units
Mahindra Bolero, the SUV from home grown auto manufacturing company Mahindra & Mahindra reached one more milestone in its successful journey of 13 years by recording the sale of more than 6.5 lakh unit since its inception in 2000. Apart from achieving this target Bolero also succeeded in emerging as the 5th top selling vehicles in its segment during this financial year from April to September.
The affordable price, fuel efficient performance and low maintenance cost have been the major determinants which have played an important role in successful survival of Bolero in Indian car market for so many years. According to statistical data revealed by sources M&M succeeded in selling out 1,17,665 units during the ongoing financial year against 1,00,686 units sold during the same period last year, thus recording the growth of 17%. With this company also succeeded in becoming only the auto company in Indian car market to sell more than 1,00,000 vehicles successively for two years in line.
Speaking on achievement of this landmark Mr. Pravin Shah, Chief Executive, Automotive Division, M&M said that by selling more than 6.5 lakh units during last 13 years Bolero has set a benchmark for SUV’s in country. During this successful journey of 13 years Bolero underwent various facelift depending upon the changing trend and requirements of customers.
