Mahindra Group donates Rs 1 crore to Uttarakhand Flood Relief
At present Uttarakhand living peoples are facing with big disaster created by flood and this is time to help them. The Government, Non-Government ogranisations as well as social working organisations are helping to rescue them. Among all these, country's leading group Mahindra & Mahindra has also come out to help them and announced a donation of Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Uttarakhand. It is expected that during this human tragedy in the Devbhoomi more groups will also announce donation.
The Mahindra Group is India based USD 16.2 billion multinational group. It has more than 155,000 employs over 100 countries. It produces utility, commercial, passenger and heavy duty vehicles. Apart from this, Mahindra Group is involve in information technology and vacation ownership business. At present the company is doing very well in utility vehicle (SUV) making with its popular models like Quanto, Sorpio, Xylo, XUV 500 etc.
It has also dived into the passenger car segment (sedan and hatchback) with launch of Mahindra Verito sedan and Mahindra Verito Vibe hatchback. The newly launched product by the company in India is Verito Vibe hatch which is priced between Rs 5.68 lakh to Rs 6.55 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). Very soon, a low variant of the much popular global SUV- XUV 500 will also be offered to the Indian customers.
