Mahindra Launches Petrol Variant of XUV500, Priced Rs. 15.49 Lakh
Home grown car maker Mahindra and Mahindra has launched the highly awaited petrol variant of its best selling SUV XUV500 in the Indian car market with the price tag of Rs. 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The petrol variant is offered in the “G” trim and offered with six speed automatic transmission as standard feature. The newly launched vehicle looks similar to existing diesel variant. The only difference is integration of 2.2 litre mHawk engine which is being offered in the petrol variant of the SUV in UAE and Qatar markets. It generates the power of 140 bhp and torque of 320 Nm.
On the exterior front to make the petrol variant looks different from the diesel variant it has been embellished with new badge, LED DRLs, rain sensing wipers, logo projection lamp on ORVMs and many more. Inside the cabin it is offered with seven inch touchscreen infotainment system with android auto, full automatic climate control, eight way adjustable driver seat, push button start, dual airbags, ABS+EBD, tyre tronics, and many more.
