Now that new Mahindra Verito is already in, the next big launch seems to be that of the much much much awaited Mahindra Mini Xylo MPV. And further increasing the anticipation is the recent spy shots of an uncamouflaged Mini Xylo that seems to be production ready and even ready to hit the road. Furthermore, the latest reports also suggest that the Mahindra Mini Xylo price should land between Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh which will make it attractive even more than the Maruti Ertiga. However its hatchback like proportions could mar its MPV image.

Meanwhile, the craze and zeal for the Mini version of Xylo is on the high and people are eagerly waiting for this smaller version of the big Mahindra MPV. Once it is launched it is expected to surpass all sales records as following its size, and its price, it will be a great option to any hatchback and will also be a great option to any MPV such as Ertiga or Maruti Eeco. If the price of the Xylo Mini lands somewhere between Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, it is expected that people will be crazy for this car as this will be the entry level car by Mahindra and the brand has established itself next to Maruti and in some segments such as SUV, more than Maruti.

The uncamoufalged spy shot that is doing rounds on the internet suggests a launch close by and the test mule seemed to be a full grown one with body colored handle doors and other accessories. This means that the top trim was on the test run. Also the extra wheel on the rear door suggests that it may have more than hatchback or MPV qualities and Mahindra might position it in the compact SUV segment where it will rival Premier Rio, Renault Duster and forthcoming Ford Ecosport and Maruti XA Alpha.

Apart from these compact MPVs and mini SUVs the next best thing to hit the automotive market is the impending launch of New Hyundai Elantra. The fluidic ideology obedient sedan is expected to be priced around 13 Lakh for base petrol model.
