Auto cos in India have shifted gears from hatchbacks to humongous and spacious MPVs which are appealing more to the customers these days. The segment which was until now overpowered by Toyota’s Innova now has a new entrant, Maruti Ertiga which is priced aggressively and can be a game changer for Maruti. Auto makers are vying to render their MPVs in the arena to fight out with its rivals to emerge the ultimate winner. GM India has been copiously testing its MPV across the nation since last few months. Nissan too has a new MPV in the making, Nissan Evalia which apparently will be launched in the month of August.
