Mahindra Recalling AMT Variants of TUV300 to Upgrade ECU Software
To upgrade the ECU software installed in its fresh compact SUV TUV300 domestic car maker Mahindra & Mahindra is recalling its AMT variant. According to reports most of the customers driving AMT variant of TUV300 faced problem while gear transmission adversely affecting their driving. According to sources of M&M the issue is not a major can be easily solved with upgrading the ECU Software. To rectify the issue dealers of company across the country have started contacting the owners TUV300 AMT variant to get their software upgrade b y them without paying any additional cost for it.
As an impact of this issue the drivers felt problem during gear transmission system which minimised rotation of engine to 4,000 rpm minimizing the speed of SUV while moving to fifth gear from fourth gear. Launched in Indian car marker on September 16, 2015, the compact SUV TUV300 is empowered with 1.5 litre three cylinder mHawk 80 diesel engine boosting the power of 84 bhp and torque of 230 Nm. Along with five speed manual gear transmission system, the compact SUV is also offered in AMT version making it first in its segment.
Recently car maker also hiked the price of this compact SUV up-to Rs. 13,000 with effect from January 1, 2016.
