Mahindra Thar AC priced at Rs 6.75 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai

Mahindra and Mahindra has launched the Mahindra Thar AC in Mumbai today amid a pomp show in the presence of media persons covering the event. The new Jeep variant has been priced at Rs 6.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and Rs 6.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Mahindra Thar now features an air-conditioner along with a heater. Mahindra Thar AC features the best AC and heater in the soft top category long with twin bucket seats and a power steering. Mahindra That AC has a turning radius of 5.35 meters, the mighty BSIV compliant engine comes with a revv counter. Apart from these features, Thar AC has a borh warner transfer case and 4x4 accessories for customizing the vehicle.

Armed with the 2.5 litre robust CRDi diesel engine, it generates a power of 105BHP at 3800rpm and a peak torque of 247Nm at 1800rpm. The 2.5 litre CRDi diesel engine is harmonized to a five speed manual gearbox. Mahindra and Mahindra also revealed the Mahindra Adventure calendar at the grandiose launch event. Mahindra and Mahindra organized around 20 great escapes in the year 2011.
