Mahindra Verito Executive launched at Rs 5.95 lakh
Mahindra and Mahindra; the native automobile manufacturer, has unwrapped a limited version of its Verito sedan named as Verito Executive on 10th October at a price tag between INR 5.95 lakhs-7.09 lakhs (Ex Showroom New Delhi).
The new version is offered in two colors walnut brown and pearl white, and is introduced keeping in mind the corporate house professionals and business class executives, as stated by the company. The diesel run variant of Verito Executive is priced at INR 6.94 lakhs (Bharat Stage III) and INR 7.09 lakhs (Bharat Stage IV), whereas the petrol run variant which comprises of 1.6L engine is priced at INR 5.95 lakhs (Bharat Stage III) to INR 5.99 lakhs (Bharat Stage IV).
Mr. Vivek Nayer, the Senior Vice President- Marketing in Automotive Sector said that the special edition of Verito Executive will add a variety to its line up as well as premium class proportion to the vehicle. The car till now known for being spacious and fuel efficient, with this limited version it will also offer premium interior and exterior quality to its consumers.

The sedan was initially produced by Mahindra with the assistance of French automaker Renault and was named Logan. The joint venture broke up and Mahindra agreed to take away Renault’s 49 percent stake. After which sedan Logan was renamed as Verito in April 2011 by Mahindra.
The collaboration took place in the year 2005 to manufacture and sell the sedan in the country. The sedan Logan didn’t achieve much success resulting in the split of its partners.
