Mahindra XUV 500 features revamped tripmeter
The most popular premium global SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle), Mahindra XUV 500 is now more futuristic as it has got the new tripmeter that provides a four digit read out along with clear view. It is reported that, existing customers of the SUV can also avail this new tripmeter by just making a call to the nearest Mahindra's Dealership Relationship manager. Apart from this, M&M has also updated brakes of the vehicle in past in addition to make it decent.
Mahindra XUV 500 is the first global premium SUV car model by Indian auto major which is doing very well in domestic and foreign markets. In these days, the beast is facing rigid competition to new entrant same segment vehicles in Indian auto market like Renault Duster, Maruti Ertgia, Nissan Evalia and Chevrolet Enjoy. After some time, Ford Ecosport will also be eating the market share of XUV 500. So, in order to lure customers and provide stiff competition to these rivals the company is doing something new.
Mahindra has also made announcement about the launch of three new SUV cars by near future along with a low cost variant of the XUV 500. The much awaited low variant of the vehicle is expected to be priced under Rs 10 lakh but it will lose many of safety and comfort features. Diving into the hatchback segment, Mahindra has also launched the hatchback Verito Vibe in domestic market this month.
