Indian SUV maker has launched its cheetah inspired sports vehicle Mahindra XUV 500 in Australia today. It took almost five years for Mahindra Automotive Australia; the Australian arm of the Indian car maker to launch another product after it introduced the Mahindra Scorpio based Mahindra Pickup back in 2007. But better late than never and it is expected to be even better for Mahindra as it has launched the XUV 500 which is its world SUV. The SUV has recently passed the Australian crash tests ANCAP and has received 4 stars. The Mahindra XUV 500 price in Australia is AUD 29,900 which translates into Rs 16.58 lakh in Indian rupees. On the other hand the XUV 500 AWD version is priced at AUD 32,900 that is equal to Rs 18.24 lakh.
